Women in Saudi Arabia recently stirred up a storm after they protested against laws in the country which banned them from driving.

A number of Muslim countries have also been criticized for their laws which are said to promote gender inequality.

This can be attributed to the fact that women in these countries are expected to cover up completely and be chaperoned by men always.
