You might not have heard of Jo Deep – the twenty-something-year-old musician, guitarist and errr… Pastor or Nosa Omoregie – the “Always on my mind crooner”, Christian Singer, Songwriter, Worship leader and that is totally fine. As someone who has always been deeply involved in church culture, there were things I didn’t know but to miss out on an opportunity like this to know more – Nah.

In the past, both artistes have, through their music platforms delivered conscious music. Music that blesses, that renews, that reaches for the heart, that refreshes and to drift into church lingo, music that ministers. This is why a collabo from both artistes is a big deal for us – merging individual unique sounds, musical niche and fan base on a gorgeous track.

The song, produced by M Shabz was birthed after the artistes encountered series of people who in early 2017, were rapidly moving from worrying into depression.

It serves as an anthem for the heart when worrying storms in. “Oh! what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pains we bear, Let’s give it all away to Jesus, all away to Him”. This song will lead many to pray and flow in peace.

The one theme that consistently spans the 4 minutes 36 seconds song is the sheer bliss from the confession of the artistes and the mix of melody and message.

The song hits you straight at the core of what truly matters, delivers it’s message in a “no-long-story” format and rounds up just in time to leave you lingering for more. It’s not the type you hear during your usual “church” worship session, at a praise concert yet, it is not in itself, unusual.

Although the success of the collaboration between the duo doesn’t necessarily guarantee another one in the future, we would definitely keep our eyes on them.
