GEJ held ‘private’ meetings with Adeboye, Oyedepo yesterday

President Goodluck Jonathan has held private meetings with Pastors David Oyedepo and Enoch Adeboye.

The President was said to have had discussions with the two leading clerics in separate meetings on Monday, May 4.

Jonathan arrived the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, accompanied by a few aides, in the afternoon and was conveyed to the venues of the separate meetings in a helicopter.

The President met with the Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, at the Redemption Camp of the RCCG is situated at Mowe along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Similarly, he visited the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo at the headquarters of his church in Ota, Ogun State.

Journalists and members of the press were not allowed to cover the meeting, which was described as being private.

After the meetings with the two pastors, Jonathan was said to have immediately returned to Abuja.
