The Police, SSS, Mobile Police and Brigade of Guards led by the CSO of GEJ have been molesting and beating up peaceful protesters in Abuja, Nigeria.

 

It would be recalled that NLC had advised that protesters remain peaceful; to which degree; the protesters in Abuja have resolved to employ the “Non-Violent” approach to demonstration.

 

However, the security forces in Abuja seem to be calling for more than they can chew!

 

The #OccupyNigeria Group and other Civil Society Groups who camp ‘peacefully’ at the “Freedom Square”, Adetokumbo Ademola Street, Wuse 2, Abuja were attacked and ruthlessly brutalised for the second time at 01.15am in the wee hours of today, January 12, 2012.

 

This would be the second time as they were earlier attacked on January 8, 2012.

 

The security forces on both occasions have a method of swooping on the groups when the crowds have dispersed and the groups are getting ready to sleep on their mats and non-violent.

 

We are not counting the number of people that have lost their lives to the greed of one strong headed man and his elitist economists and cabalocratic capitalists.

 

The same force that till date has not been able to deal with the Boko Haram menace.

 

This again shows the wickedness and deceit of the Federal Government.

 

Jonathan and his bombers and thugs should hear this; the young people of Nigeria have declared:

 

“We are ready to Die”!

“We are all ready oh”!
