French Police arrest two over bomb-making material in Paris

French police have arrested two people in an apartment in a Paris suburb of Villejuif after finding components that can be used to make bombs, The Local reports.

A plumber working in the building tipped off security forces after he claimed he saw what he deemed detonators. Police then rushed to the scene and ordered an immediate evacuation and stoppage of every ongoing work in nearby buildings. Bomb disposal experts were subsequently deployed to examine the material.

Media personnel disclosed that, the flat was empty at the time of the discovery of the suspected devices and the two men were arrested in a car nearby.

France which has been under a state of emergency after the November 2015 terror attacks which killed 130 people, has experienced series of terror attacks and are therefore very nimble in response to any security related uprisings.
