Fox News’ Julie Banderas called out Donald Trump for being sexist while outing her own bigotry

Yesterday, Fox News grew the proverbial pair and did a little bit of what any independent media house ought to when faced with a President that continues to act like it’s a taboo to act presidential. They called him out.

Fox News hasn’t done that in a while; not since a brilliant wind force named Megyn Kelly left the cable news outfit months ago. What we’ve got from them instead has been constant Fox and Friends [of Trump].

In a refreshing twist yesterday, Julie Banderas, a 43 year-old Fox anchor took up the issue of Trump’s child-like response to Morning Joe hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski with RNC Chair, Ronna Romney McDaniel during a segment intended to cover the White House Briefing.

Acknowledging the fact that the more reasonable thing to do would have been to discuss the GOP “Healthcare” Bill, “travel ban and the let’s see… the camera on-camera, off-camera White House press briefings”, Julie instead had to first get out her frustrations with how sexist and childish President Donald Trump has been on Twitter.

It’s obvious that Julie Banderas is especially concerned with these particular tweets because  “he’s insulting a woman again”. Great stuff! Fox News after all made great ratings off then presidential candidate Trump attacking Megyn Kelly in sexist terms and now that Fox is scorched from all the allegations of sexual discrimination against hosts like Bill O’Reilly, why not show how feminist the network is attacking their est friend, Donald Trump when he gets sexist. Really great way to deal with things.

Only problem is that Fox News is so horrible at damage control that they asked a host with a record of being a tad bit bigoted against Islam to execute this brilliant plan. Julie Banderas was doing great with her show of annoyance with Donald Trump calling Mika Brzezinski “low I.Q” until she decided to compare Trump with Obama.

“Listen, you don’t need to stoop to the level, obviously. I don’t care who you are. You don’t stoop to the level of that. I mean that’s like me scolding my 4-year-old for using a bad word and then me repeating it”, she said when the RNC Chair tried to defend Trump by saying the Morning Joe hosts attacked him first and listing out some of the insults they had hurled at him. Julie then trying to use Obama as an example of how the President should have reacted, named some of the horrible things people used to say about Obama:

“People used to call President Obama stupid, people used to call him a Muslim. People used to call him underqualified, a sellout to America, a hater of Israel. I mean they called him every name in the book, but you didn’t see him lash out.”

Err… Helloooooo Banderas! “they called him every name in the book” including “Muslim”?

??????

How is being called a Muslim a bad thing? Not a lie. Not a mistake. Not a misstatement of the facts. A bad thing! One of the worst names in the book and on the same wave length as being called “stupid”, “underqualified” and a “hater of Israel”?

Oh I know how! When the person speaking is Julie Banderas and her bigoted mind has no qualms speaking aloud her Islamophobic tendencies live on cable TV. Even if her only job was to make Fox News appear less sexist than Bill O’Reilly and it’s glaring allegiance to Donald Trump
