Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration Safety Agency, Raymond Omatseye has been sentenced to 5 years in prison by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday.

Omatseye was served his judgment having been charged for a N1.5bn contract scam while he was NIMASA boss as well as charges for money laundering.
