 1. Simi, Mark Angel, Tosin Ogundadegbe emerge winners at TFAA 2018

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye (Simi) clinched the 2018 Prize for Music at The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) ahead of 5 other nominees Adekunle Gold, David Adeleke, Damini Ogulu (Burna Boy), Folarin Falana (Falz) and Adewale Emmanuel (Mayorkun)

 

Other notable prizes clinched on the night were those by: Tosin Ogundadegbe (Fashion), Zainab Balogun (Acting), Nadine Ibrahim (Screen Producer), Mark Angel(Comedy), Olive Emodi (On-Air Personality – Television) and Ada Foluwake Ogunkeye (Folu StormsOn-Air Personality (Radio)


2. Offset offers olive branch to Cardi B on stage

Atlanta rapper, Offset on Saturday interrupted his estranged wife Cardi B’s performance at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles as he walked on stage carrying a bouquet of of flowers in hand and a cake reading, “TAKE ME BACK CARDI.”

He said, “I just want to tell you I’m sorry bruh. In person. In front of the WORLD.”

Both stars are currently not on good terms following news of Offset cheating on his wife Cardi B surfaced online, with Cardi B sharing a video recently that she was filing for a divorce.


3. Paul Okoye announces name change
Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye of the Psquare group, has announced a change of name with effect from January 1.
In the announcement he made via his Instagram page, the twin has decided to change his name from ‘Rude Boy’ to ‘King Rudy’ which would also be changed across his social media platforms.
