Ebuka Obi-Uchendu set to host the next edition of Big Brother Naija

Big Brother Naija will be returning for its third edition in 2018 and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is set to return to his hosting duties.

Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, regional director, M-Net West Africa said of the celebrated host, “We are thrilled to have Ebuka return as host of Big Brother Naija. This was the platform that unearthed his potential first as a housemate and then as a host, ultimately launching him to stardom. He is a prime example of what the Big Brother platform offers, as he has proven over the years to be one of Nigeria’s biggest names in pop culture and entertainment whilst also lending his voice to youth empowerment initiatives.”

True to her words, Ebuka impressively steered the second season of the show to a successful end that saw the crowning of Efe Ejeba as winner of the N25 million cash prize.

Praiz is the most recent celebrity victim of police brutality in Nigeria

Rich and Famous singer, Praiz was on Tuesday arrested by the Nigerian Police while he drove along Lekki-Epe expressway to his record label, X3M’s end of year gig.

The singer was said to have been stopped for speed driving and he got the officers furious by filming the conversation that transpired between both parties.

Although Praiz was later released during the day, Nigerians are using the incident to further their clamour for an end to police brutality.

Praiz took to Instagram to express his thoughts on his arrest and the deep-seated issues in the Nigerian Police Force.
