Travis Scott responds to lawsuit over cancelled show days after daughter’s birth

Travis Scott has responded to being sued by promoter PJAM LLC after cancelling a show on Feb. 4, two days after girlfriend Kylie Jenner gave birth to their child, daughter Stormi Webster. He has also filed a counter-suit against the company.

Scott’s attorneys say that the promoters failed to arrange transportation for the rapper and have tried to “shake Travis down to avoid the consequences of their breaches” and because they have gone public with their grievances they want the $50,000 balance still owed to him for the gig.

The law firm King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano, LLP, gave the following statement, “Three wannabe promoters—Alex MartiniJefferson Agar and Patrick Johnston, and their company PJAM, contracted with Travis Scott to appear at a February 4 show under terms they had no financial ability to satisfy—even completely failing to arrange to get him to and from the event as required. In an obvious effort to shake Travis down and avoid the consequences of their breaches, they filed a spurious lawsuit while spreading specious falsehoods in the press.”
