Kanye West and Jay-Z may be ending their beef?

Reports making rounds have it that we may soon be seeing an end to the ongoing feud between rappers and former good friends, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

TMZ reports that “Kanye asked for a face-to-face with Jay, to hash out the beef that was ignited when Kanye went onstage last Fall and went after Jay, Beyonce and even Blue Ivy.”

Jay-Z addressed the feud recently in a Tidal exclusive interview where he faulted Kanye for going after his family.

And the Pan African Comedian of the Year Award goes to…

Basketmouth!!!

Yes, top Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth won the Pan African Comic of the Year Award at the 7th edition of the Savanna Comics’ Choice Awards in South Africa.

Basketmouth was nominated alongside other African comedians, Salvado, Carl Joshua Ncube, Masapo, and Fernanbo Tafish and emerged the first Nigerian ever to win in that category.

 

Mr Eazi calls out Nigerian artistes for infusing Ghanaian elements in their music

For Mr Eazi, this Ghanaian style belongs to him and he won’t be having other artistes who “know nothing about Ghana” claim it.

The ‘Leg Over’ singer who appeared as a guest on Reggae Recipe with Ras Kwame on UK’s online radio, Capital Xtra spoke on Ghanaian influences on his music, how fast he’s grown in so little time and then went on to throw shots at other Nigerian singers.

Mr Eazi said, “Now everybody is using words like Banku, Shitor, Maami, Odoo, Sika. My guy, how come? How do you know Odoo? How do you know Sika? How do you know Maami? From where, what’s the connection?”

Kim Kardashian reacts to surrogacy reports

Kim and Kanye are having a third child, it’s a girl, a surrogate is carrying her blah blah blah

Maybe we should all just chill. Kim wants us to chill.

In an exclusive interview with E! News at the New York Fashion Show, the reality star said: “I’ve definitely seen a lot of things, we’ve never confirmed anything. So, I think when we’re ready to talk about it we will, and I think it’s super invasive when people are just… So many details out there, and like I’ve never heard this, I’ve never heard this. Like whatever. We have not confirmed it, and that’s that. I’ll let you know when we’re ready.”

Kim and her husband, Kanye West have never confirmed or denied the surrogacy reports and Kim has openly talked about it in episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

 

In Case You Missed It…

Late actor, poet and journalist, Pa Adebayo Faleti was buried in his hometown in Oyo state on Friday.

The burial ceremony was attended by the Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, a number of Nollywood actors, politicians and others who came to pay homage to the late veteran.

Adebayo Faleti died in June 2017 at the age of 86.

Country music star, Don Williams died on Friday after what his publicist described as “a short illness”. He was 78.

The ‘Gentle Giant’ of country music was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and retired his career in 2016.

Tributes have poured in from all quarters and the late singer who had 17 Number 1 hits in his career will be best remembered for his gentle, amiable and warm character.
