A 2016 Acura MDX was delivered to the Ikejis yesterday by Mayfair Autos as Linda Ikeji celebrated her mother.

The car gift came as a surprise to Linda’s mum and she was elated to receive it as the rest of the family shared in her joy.

Toke Makinwa’s book “On Becoming” launched last night

The popular OAP and talk show host formally launched her book, On Becoming last night.

The event was attended by A-list celebrities including Mo Abudu, Shina Peller, D’Banj, Arese Ugwu, Debola Williams, Kate Henshaw and comedian Tee-A.

The keynote speech at the book launch was delivered by Honourable Abike Dabiri while Waje and Niyola serenaded guests with good music.

The book will be available for sale from today.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed praises The Wedding Party

The Minister who was at the grand premiere of the movie which held on Saturday at Eko Hotel and Suites commended the producers of The Wedding Party for raising Nollywood’s artistic bar to an international level.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed remarked that there is major shift in the industry that is undeniable. He also added, ““You can imagine the amount of investment that will go into this film, you can imagine the number of jobs it will create, that’s a challenge to us in government.”

The Wedding Party movie starts showing at Nigerian cinemas on the 16th December.

Kanye West suffering from depression and paranoia

TMZ reports that the rapper who has been hospitalized for over a week now is suffering from paranoia as he won’t even let doctors touch him.

It was established last week that Kanye’s health issues go deeper than extreme dehydration and exhaustion, the real reasons he checked in to the hospital in the first place.

TMZ sources say that Kanye West is “convinced that some people are out to get him and this paranoid feeling has been building up for months“.

Recall that the rapper called on Jay Z not to send guns at him in one of his stage rants.

Kanye West is projected to be out of the hospital today.

Davido takes locker room photo with Chelsea FC players

The Gbagbe Oshi singer was at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to celebrate Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Davido shared a photo of himself with Chelsea winger, Victor Moses and team mates, David Luiz, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta.

Vector announces release date for Lafiaji album

The rapper’s third studio album, Lafiaji is set to change the game and Vector has given fans so much to expect already what with his powerful stage performances, rap lyrics and his connection with the streets of Lafiaji, a neighbourhood in Lagos central, which he eulogises in the album.

The album is set to drop on the 20th December. Vector recently released the visuals to one of the tracks on the forthcoming album, What’s That.
