Olamide lays mother to rest

Rapper Olamide has laid his mother to rest at the Ikoyi cemetery.

Olamide had lost his mum on January 30, which unfortunately was the same day his son, Batifèori Maximiliano Adedeji  clocked three.

According to Goldmynetv, only close relatives of the family were invited.

On the fateful days of his mother’s death, Olamide had earlier posted a picture of himself and his son, wishing him a happy birthday.

Hours later, the YBNL boss announced his mother’s death on Instagram, with the caption, “Orisa bi iya o si”.

Charges against Trey Songz for hitting a woman have been dropped

Trey Songz will no longer appear in court as the charges against him for hitting a woman has been dropped.

According to TMZ, Trey Songz is free from felony criminal charges. L.A district attorney dropped the charges after the stories of eyewitnesses contradicted the account of Andrea Buera, the accuser.

The witness statements were made to Trey’s Lawyer, Shawn Holley.

Recall that the singer had turned himself in to the police to face a felony domestic violence charge in March. He was alleged to have beaten up Andrea Buera, at a Hollywood Hills party after he had accused her of talking to someone else.

Wizkid reveals how he got Davido to his concert

The highlight of the entertainment industry last year was when Wizkid and Davido performed together at the latter’s concert in Lagos.

Both superstar had reportedly been against each other before the surprising performance.

While speaking with Hip TV in a recent interview, Wizkid reveled how it happened.

He said, “I just called him and we made it happen. It’s not a big deal. I just sent him a message.”

He added that the social media spat between both artistes before then was nothing serious.

Khloe Kardashian to produce true crime TV series

Khloe Kardashian is taking another stab at television and focusing on family with a sick twist.

The soon-to-be mother announced Monday she’s partnering with the Investigation Discovery network to develop a new true-crime TV show called “Twisted Sisters.” Khloe will executive produce the 6-part series, which for now is set to debut sometime in 2019.

In a statement obtained by Page Six, Khloe says, “I am so excited to be bringing you ‘Twisted Sisters.’ As a self-proclaimed ‘true-crime addict’ there is no better way to tell these tales about the bonds that sisters possess and how they can go so terribly wrong.”

The show is said to be about sisters who either kill each other, or team up to kill other people.
