Kanye is not happy about the “Apple/Tidal bullshit”, blames it for limiting him on Drake’s VIEWS

tidalDrake’s VIEWS album is, without doubt, a phenomenal success and according to Forbes magazine, is one of the biggest hip hop albums of all time. The album is also the first to ever hit billion streams on Apple music so if an artist had a chance to be on it but them missed out for some reason, we’ll understand his pain.

Kanye West who is famous not just for his music but constant rants, has shown his discontent with Jay Z and their jointly owned music streaming app, Tidal for blowing his chances to appear on the VIEWS album.

Kanye who is on tour for his album, The Life of Pablo, expressed his pain to fans at a concert in Seattle just before he was going to perform a Drake track, Pop Style, that features him and Jay Z. He said his verse on the track was limited and Jay Z was reluctant to feature because of the “Apple/Tidal bullshit”.

“Y’all didn’t get what y’all were supposed to get with me and Drake on this song because of some Tidal/Apple bullshit. Every time I perform this song, I think about this shit. I think about the politics. I think about how i go hard for music, for art, for y’all”, Kanye said.

He also hinted that his daughter, North and Jay Z’s Blue Ivy have never played together.

Ciara will not be going ahead with the defamation suit against ex, Future

ciara-revlonTMZ has reported that singer, Ciara will not be continuing the defamation lawsuit she filed against former husband, Future in February this year.

Ciara, who recently married American football quarterback, Russell Wilson, had accused Future of portraying her as a bad mother to their son, Future Zahir Wilburn.

It is proven that you have to be broke to win a defamation case but Ciara is far from being broke as she just got signed on as a Revlon ambassador, hence the futility of pursuing the case.

“Say no to Hollywood and get married instead”, Islamic scholar advises Rahama Sadaurahama-sadau-640x431

Former Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has been under the spotlight since her expulsion from the Hausa film industry for featuring in what was termed as an “immoral” video.

She’s gone from one level of exposure to another since the ban was placed on her, from EbonyLife TV drama series feature to a recent call by musician, Akon and prolific Nigerian director, Jeta Amata to visit a movie set in California, US.

Apparently, all of these is not going down so well with some folks as an Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Dauwara shared an open letter written in Hausa, where he called on the actress to ignore the Nollywood calls and see all the recent events as a trial from God to test her faith.

He suggested that she could consider marriage, instead.
