King Sunny Ade’s guitar auctioned at N52million at Sunny on Sunday concert

The custom-made Fender guitar designed by Nigerian artiste and writer, Victor Ehikhamenor went for a final bidding price of N52.1 million at the Sunny on Sunday concert last night.

The starting price was N9million and the bidding went on until an undisclosed individual called the final price at N52.1 million.

Ini Edo was on her way to Uyo church when she heard of its collapse

Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has recounted how she was scheduled to attend the service at Reigner’s Bible Church that ended in tragedy, but was met with various obstacles including a cancelled flight and “unexplainable traffic”.

She shared her thanksgiving note on Instagram while commiserating with the families of the victims of the church collapse.

Davido is returning to school for a Masters degree

The singer says he “wants it all” and he’s getting it as on Saturday, he revealed his plans to take his education to the next level by getting a Masters degree.

Davido bagged a First Class Honours in Music from Babcock University in 2015, though he was reported to be the only student in that department.

Also over the weekend, the Gbagbe Oshi singer who performed in London, Amsterdam and Paris throughout last week, took to social media to rebuke detractors who he claims are working black magic (juju) against him.

Tinny Entertainment artiste, Ycee is back with a new rap single and this time, he features Mavin Records’ Reekado Banks.

Ycee who recently got signed on to Sony Music titles the new track, Link Up. It’s a perfect club track with a feel-good tune to it and will do well on the charts as Ycee has never been the type to deliver subpar music.

Fans can now lip-sync E

Fans can now lip-sync and share their favourite songs from Mavin artistes as the label has now officially signed its artistes on to the app.

Musical.ly is a social media app that allows users to create, sing, dance and share short music videos and the Mavins are set to take full advantage of it to connect better with their fans.

So far, it has been well received as some of these fans have shared their own videos via Instagram.

Musical.ly is the same app that popular Instagram talent, Maraji uses to create her hilarious and entertaining skits.

Usher shares video of himself feeling Phyno’s Fada Fada in a club

American music star, Usher took to his Instagram to share a video of himself in a club where other club-goers (obviously Nigerians) seated close to him were jamming to Phyno’s Fada Fada.

Usher who couldn’t make out the lyrics nodded along to the song excitedly as he showed the rest of the club singing along loudly.
