The Forbes 2017 highest paid entertainer in the world is…

Sean “Diddy” Combs!

He ranked number 1 on Forbes Magazine’s list of highest paid celebrities in the world knocking Taylor Swift who held that spot in 2016 all the way to the 49th spot.

The magazine says Diddy raked in $130million in a 12-month scoring period all accumulated from “selling one-third of his Sean John clothing line for an estimated $70 million combined with a lucrative Diageo Ciroc vodka partnership and his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour”.

Beyonce took the second position with an earning of $105million and is followed by Harry Potter author, J.K Rowlings who made $95million in the year in view.

Rapper Drake and footballer, Christiano Ronaldo rounded up the top five.

First timer on the top 10 was The Weeknd who made it to the 6th position with $93million earnings.

 

DJ Khaled’s Grateful album cover is just as extra as we expected

We actually didn’t think it would be any less dramatic!

But maybe we’re exaggerating…

It’s just DJ Khaled, his son Asahd and a baby lion. Wow!

The producer shared the album cover art via his Instagram on Monday and announced that the double CD album executive produced by his 7-month old son, Asahd will be available on 23 June.

 

Ice Cube lands a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The rap icon who recently re-released his 1991 solo album Death Certificate following the signing of a new music deal with Interscope Records has capped his success with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The music label owned by nightlife mogul, Shina Peller turned two on Monday and a new video featuring its artistes has been released to celebrate the anniversary.

The song titled “Showcase” features Que Peller, Base One and Airboy.
