Barack and Michelle Obama sign deal to produce shows for Netflix

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are teaming up with Netflix to produce films and TV shows.

Netflix say the former US President and First Lady have “entered into a multi-year agreement” with the service.

It says the “films and series” will “potentially” include “scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries and features.”

Barack and Michelle Obama are among the world’s most respected and highly-recognised public figures and are uniquely positioned to discover and highlight stories of people who make a difference in their communities and strive to change the world for the better,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos.

Jet Li captured looking frail and unsteady

In a photo uploaded to Twitter, a man that looked more like someone else than Jet Li was seen.

After he stepped away from the limelight, it was reported that his health was declining as he battled an overactive thyroid. The star was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in 2010.

The shot was captioned: “So, apparently, Jet Li is suffering from hyperthyroidism and spinal problems and this is him now.”

Some of his fans wondered if it was for a role though, as he signed up for the 2020 remake of Mulan.

‘Beyonce did not actually buy a church’, report says

TMZ reported on Sunday morning that Beyonce Knowles-Carter bought a 100-year-old church at 2930 Camp Street in New Orleans’s Garden District. But based on the records presented by Nola.com, that purchase is, at best, indirectly linked to Beyonce.

The church, which is reported to be more than 100 years old, was listed at $850,000. However, it’s unknown how much the entertainer actually bought it.

The purchase, the website says, has a stronger link to Solange than Beyonce.
