Chief Daddy premieres in Lagos

The grand premiere for EbonyLife Films’ highly anticipated film ‘Chief Daddy‘ held on November 2, at the Oriental Hotels, VI.

The theme for the night was ‘Opulently Nigerian’ and spotted at the premiere are some of the cast and crew of the film such as Kate Henshaw, Ini Edo, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, some other celebrities like Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Omoni Oboli, and so many other dignitaries.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra do their traditional Hindu Wedding

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra took part in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in the actress’ native India on Sunday.

This comes a day after they exchanged vows there and officially became husband and wife at a Christian wedding.

Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ video breaks YouTube record for most views in 24 hours

The video dropped on Friday and set the record in just under 22 hours.

As of Saturday at 9:35 a.m. PT, “Thank U, Next” had 46 million views, pushing it past the previous record holder, K-pop supergroup BTS, which got 45.9 million views for their “Idol” music video in the first 24 hours in August. – and by noon PT Saturday, “Thank U, Next” had notched a record 50.3 million views.

In addition, according to YouTube, “Thank U, Next” set the record for the most-viewed video that used YouTube’s Premiere scheduling feature with 829,000 viewers watching simultaneously at its peak. Grande fans sent over 516,000 chat messages during the video debut, also a record for YouTube Premieres. The initial traffic spike caused a delay in comments posting to the video, according to YouTube.

Drake resolves lawsuit over extortion, fraud, and defamation

Drake sued Layla Lace in September for making false pregnancy and rape allegations against him in 2017.

Drake has now resolved all legal issues with Lace, TMZ reports and Drake’s lawyer Larry Stein confirmed this in a statement to:

“The filing made by Drake against Layla Lace has been resolved, with Layla avoiding going to trial by agreeing to a stipulated judgment which prohibits her from repeating past statements she made against Drake. Drake and his team are satisfied with this outcome and while Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to move on with their lives.”
