The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has set up a crack team to probe the fraud allegations against the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

According to Channels TV, a source confirmed this on Thursday.

The team will examine all the details relating to the N200m contract for the cutting of grass in the North East which is linked to the former SGF.

President Buhari had sacked Lawal after the committee headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo found him guilty of allegations against him.
