The running mate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Godwin Obaseki in the Edo election, Philip Shaibu on Thursday stormed the collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to protest the cancellation of the election in his polling unit.

Shaibu who voted at Unit 11 in Auchi, Estako West Local Government Area arrived the centre at about 7:43am with armed policemen.

He was initially prevented entry by security operatives at the gate, but was later allowed into the administrative building.
