Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, has hired Alan Futerfas to represent him in connection with Russia-related investigations, Trump Jr.’s office said Monday, Reuters reports.
This follows the recent statements Trump Jr made about meeting with Russian lawyer, he said the meeting was set up by someone he knew from the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Russia and that he was not given the person’s name beforehand.

Futerfas, a New York lawyer who specializes in criminal defense, would not say when he was retained or whether he had any input into the statements Trump Jr. made over the weekend about a meeting with a Russian lawyer.
White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway defended Trump Jr. on CNN’s “New Day” with Chris Cuomo saying “Let’s focus on what did not happen in that meeting”, adding there was “no action taken. Nothing”.
