Over the years, many people, celebrities and everyday people alike have been victims of cyber assault, and often times when that happens, victims are sometimes seen as the architect of the whole situation. With celebrities, there would be those who would assume that the celebrities may have done it for attention and there would be those who think differently.

Yesterday, Seyi Shay’s Instagram had some photos that showed her in some raunchy positions and at first, fans thought that she was just posing a tease post for her fans and followers, but things got out of hand when more and more sultry photos made way (with no caption) on her Instagram.

Following the tension that grew around the photos that allegedly leaked, many Nigerian celebrities jumped on the comment section to praise her for giving them something as strong and sexy as they saw it, but not long before the comments started dropping did Seyi Shay share on Twitter that her Instagram account had been hacked and that those pictures were not uploaded by her and that she had no idea how the hacker got a hold of her nude photos.

I cannot tell why/who is doing this, but my IG account has been compromised & my privacy is being violated. Seems to be a deliberate attack as the photos circulating are not from a recent exchange.

In this story, as expressed before, there will be a huge part of people who would say that the photos were deliberately shared by the artist for her to trend and stay relevant in the scene. Even though Seyi Shay had said she wasn’t responsible for sharing the photos a huge number of people thought that she was and fellow singer and music producer, Tekno thought the same too.

I don't think Seyi Shay's account has been hacked.

I think it just another showbiz stunt to make her gain free talkability.

For those who stand with the view that she posted the photos herself, their claim is that, because it is a publicity stunt and she would also want to save face, the singer only posted photos which didn’t show extreme nudity, while others just generally believe that she was bored and just wanted to tease her fans.

In a later development, the singer’s Instagram account has been brought down, maybe by herself or maybe by the hacker. Whatever the case may be, fans won’t be getting that part of the singer on the gram anymore.

While Seyi Shay hasn’t really said so much to counter these claims that she uploaded the pictures herself, a lot of her fans have called her to order, those who believe that she did, as they ask them to go easy on the artist as she has already said that it was hacked.
