Some others even went as far as putting dates to it (dates that have now passed).have had our eyes peeled and our eyes to the ground expecting the return of President Muhammadu Buhari who has been out of the country since the 19th of January on a vacation that has all but turned into a sick leave,

Notwithstanding all that disappointment, we have had our eyes peeled and put our ears to the ground expecting the return of President Muhammadu Buhari who has been out of the country since the 19th of January on a vacation that has all but turned into a sick leave.

Today, we think we found a reason to believe that the President will truly soon be back.

It’s a long shot but there’s nothing to lose at this point.

Our evidence? a post from the President’s official photographer’s Instagram:

Hold on, let’s explain. So since the President has been out of the country, Mr Bayo has also been on some form of compulsory holiday and has often been seen in Lagos as opposed to Abuja where he’d normally be with his subject. More interesting is the fact that Mr Bayo almost immediately (after the President travelled) took to a gratuitous project of his own; travelling around Nigeria to teach invaluable photography lessons to budding photographers in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Osun and Ilorin.

He’d promised to take the party to Port Harcourt today, the 8th of March a few days ago before posting this cancellation/postponement this morning.

Now, our guess is: if the President’s photographer had to suddenly postpone an acclaimed event like “Unabashed” without a clear explanation then doesn’t it mean he’s been called back to work?

Or maybe it was just a family emergency?
