Desmond Ola Yusuf, an ND 1 student studying Civil Engineering emerged winner of the Cliqfest star prize, a Hyundai i10 car after a raffle draw was conducted signaling the highpoint of two days of pulsating excitement for students of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria.
The Cliqfest train which berthed in the school produced a music concert where popular artiste such as Terry G (AKA the Akpako master) and the “Alaga Ibile” crooner, Reminisce and Nex2, the second runner-up, in the Etisalat sponsored Nigeria idol season 5, thrilled the students with break taking performances.
The campus event kicked off with a highly interactive career session tagged “Seizing Opportunities” and anchored by renowned motivational speaker, Niyi Adesanya. It also included a five a-side football match, a music rap duel, dancing contest and a raffle draw to determine the winner of the star prize.
The Rector of the school, Prof. Dalhatu Balarabe Yahaya, was full of praise for Etisalat for its commitment to developing Nigerian youths through its bespoke youth-centric programmes.
The Cliqfest campus tour powered by EasyCliq is an annual nationwide multi-campus youth-centric education and entertainment initiative sponsored by Nigeria’s leading innovative telecommunications company, Etisalat.
