Church Crawler: Love, Love and more Love at Daystar Christian Centre

Have you ever thought about the idea of an over dosage of love? Like, showing people love till its almost too much for them to handle (which it can’t be anyway).

As usual, Church Crawler made its way to another Church this Sunday and landed at Daystar Christian Centre.

Daystar Christian Centre is one of the leading churches in the area of digital media usage and 21st-century revolution. The Church led by Pastor Sam and Nike Adeyemi is one with a brilliant track record of extraordinary excellence and multi-faceted leadership.

On entering the church, the first thing to be noted would be people who were positioned at the gate to welcome members into the church as well as bombard them with as much positive confessions as they could remember.

If there’s one thing Pastor Sam Adeyemi is known for, it is his knowledge of the word and his ability to deliver God’s word in the simplest of ways; that should be the goal of every Pastor yeah? It’s not in the grandiose of words but in its power to save, deliver and empower. Although Pastor Sam was not present in church obviously due to ministerial appointments, the message we watched and listened to had been prerecorded. Trust Daystar Christian Centre to be at the forefront of Technological advancements in the world of Faith.

The message was on the Covenant of healing and health and he emphasised how our love for God endears us to enter into a covenant of health with him. The word went on really well except that the guy beside me wouldn’t just stop pressing his phone. I guess we have to return to the days of the big aunties in ushering unit that seize phones from members who make use of them during the service.

I bet you have heard about the choristers at Daystar Christian Centre. It’s not in anyway overrated. They are as good as people say they are. Little wonder, Pastor Sam Adeyemi is in the habit of calling them the “best choir in the world”. It might sound a lil bit cliche but we should take the word of the man of God as it is. Right?

Service ended right on time and just another dose of love from the protocol members at the gate. Apparently, it is a habit in Daystar Christian Centre for the church members to ensure that the members enter and leave church with the feeling of love and warmth hence the need that greeters be positioned at the gate to welcome members and bade them goodbye in the friendliest of ways.

Till I attend that church and Church Crawler crawls into your church, better be prepared, “for the hour cometh…”
