Chapecoense tragedy: My teammates were assassinated – Survivor

One of the teammates of late Brazilian team members, Chapecoense who died in a Colombia plane crash has said they were assassinated.

Moises Santos who did not travel with the team due to injury claimed pilot Miguel Quiroga ‘was the only guilty one’ in the tragedy.

Quiroga was reportedly heard in a radio communication saying there was no fuel in the plane before it crashed.

It was also learnt that an airport official reportedly warned the crew before they took off from Bolivia that the plane’s fuel load was not enough.

He said: “At the moment I got injured I questioned God, and said to my wife ‘why me?’ Today I can see that because of my injury, God delivered me.

“But how can I say that God delivered me, when he didn’t deliver my friends who were no that plane? If he saved me why didn’t he save them aswell? I don’t have any reason to talk of being delivered.

He then made the astonishing claim: “My friends were assassinated – that wasn’t an accident.”
