The Presidency on Saturday said reports that the official photographer of President Muhammadu Buhari, Bayo Omoboriowo has been sacked was false.
The report was debunked by personal assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad through a tweet.

He wrote, “Pres. @MBuhari’s Official Photographer @BayoOmoboriowo has NOT been sacked, the report, like SH Perm. Secretary suspension is totally untrue.”

Given credence to Ahmad’s claim, Tolu Ogunlesi, the head of digital communications in the presidency described the report as “fake news”.
“One day one #fakenews. Ignore all the rumours about @BayoOmoboriowo no longer working for PMB. Not everything you read should be believed,” Ogunlesi tweeted.
