President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the killing of 8 persons in Zamfara State over blasphemy of islam.
The victim who was a student of Abdu Gusau Polytechnic was alleged to have made a blasphemous statement against Islam and Prophet Muhammad and was consequently attacked by a mob who beat him to a pulp.
A man whose name was simply given as Tajudeen, took him in his car and rushed him to a hospital, an action which the mob found offensive.
The mob marched to his house, set it on fire and killed eight persons.
Buhari on his Twitter handle, @MBuhari assured Nigerians that the law will take its course.
I received news of the mob killings in Zamfara with great dismay. It is barbaric & unacceptable. I assure that the law will take its course
