President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The governor met Buhari over the governorship election in the state in November 18.

Buhari promised the governor that the election in the state will be free and fair.

The President, through his Twitter page also confirmed the meeting.

He wrote, “Today I received Governor Obiano at the State House. The Federal & State Govts will work together to ensure free & fair elections next month.”

Recall that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had said election will not hold in the state.
