Buhari may attend Juma’at prayer – Presidency

The presidency has hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari may attend the State House mosque for Friday juma’at service.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement.

The statement was issued on the postponement of the proposed visit of the President of Niger Republic, Mahamadou Issoufou to Nigeria.

Adesina said Buhari and his visitor had planned to attend the Juma’at prayers together.

“All arrangements had been concluded for President Buhari to receive his Nigerien counterpart and his delegation at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa and attend the Jumaat prayers together as well as lunch, before the last-minute postponement,” said Adesina.

Recall that the president, last Friday, was not at the State House mosque for juma’at service.
