A few days ago, Adeniyi Johnson – Toyin Aimakhu‘s estranged hubby released a press statement where he addressed quite a lot of accusations surrounding his split from the Nollywood actress.

In a new interview with PUNCH, the actor denied speculations of him making contact with Aimakhu for reconciliation talks.

He said, “This is a blatant lie. In fact, the reverse is even the case. I can’t even remember the last time I spoke to her; it probably was sometime last year.  I have never called her since this controversy started. But she has been the one calling me. I have a lot of evidence to prove this.”

The actor also tried to evade the question as to if there is any hope to salvage their marriage saying ‘I would rather not talk about it. But I have to tell you that in a few weeks, things will unfold.’
