The Ministry of Health will on Monday write the police to secure the National Health Insurance Scheme headquarters over threats by suspended Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the NHIS, Prof. Yusuf Usman to resume this week.

2. Magu: Presidency to approach Supreme Court over appointment crisis

The Presidency is set to approach the Supreme Court over the lingering crisis between the executive and the National Assembly over the powers of the President to appoint some heads of government agencies without senate approval.

3. Judges homes’ raid: Reps panel want DSS, Evidence laws amended

A House of Representatives panel is proposing to repeal the Evidence Act 2011.

The panel seeks to make evidence obtained during an illegal search on persons or their properties inadmissible in court.
