#BBNaija: Big Brother Naija show is back, N90m bigger and better | See other changes made

Africa’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija is back, and this year promises to be bigger and better.

With the conclusion of the auditions in May, the sixth season of the show, which is yet to be themed, is rumored to be returning to our screens within the week. The date currently slated for its premiere is 24th of July, this Saturday. However, this premiere will be nothing like preceding episodes as the opening ceremonies will run for two days, on the 24th and 25th of July.

As it is with the show annually, the stakes have been raised higher as a bigger reward awaits the winner of this season. In contrast to last year’s N85 Million grand prize, N5 Million has been added to this years total prize, making it a whooping N90 million Naira in prize rewards.

In addition to that, the producers of the show have also announced that the show will readily available for those outside the continent via Showmax, so that Africans in Diaspora wouldn’t miss out on all the fun. The voting for the show will be via the web and apps, as SMS voting have been cancelled.

The show this year will run for run 10 weeks straight (72 days) 24 hours each day on DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Confam and Yanga packages on channel 198 and on GOtv Max and Jolli packages on channel 29.
