The next time you’ll hear about director and writer BB Sasore, on a big scale that is, it will be for his upcoming faith-based, Christmas movie God Calling. Sasore is known for works like Before 30, the television series about the pressures of marriage especially on women and the farcical, supernatural comedy Banana Island Ghost.
But God Calling is coming with an opening; Sasore is looking for a second unit director to assist him on the movie. Frankly, I think this is a great gig for budding directors and filmmakers in general.

The second unit of a film is a crew that is responsible for shooting supplementary footage: this includes establishing shots, inserts, and cutaways. This crew is separate from the first unit, which is the team that films the leading cast. Ultimately, the second unit director is responsible for capturing all supplementary footage and maintaining a look that is consistent with scenes filmed by the first unit, ensuring continuity when the sequence are edited together in post-production.
Top-tier directors like Steven Spielberg and James Cameron were once second unit directors.
