Former Arsenal defender, Laureano Etame-Mayer known as Lauren, has, contrary to rumours, said that Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, won’t resign.

There has been widespread criticism and calls for the French manager to resign but the manager doesn’t seem disturbed.

Considering his contract expires at the end of the season, many are eager that he passes on the baton to someone else.

Etame-Mayer said Wenger knows how to manage criticism and would soon take Arsenal to better positions.

“I don’t think he will resign. He has been under pressure for 30-35 years now managing big clubs with big pressure,” Etame-Mayer said.
