Apostle Suleiman, President IJGB Buhari, Kemen | Here are last week’s winners and losers

The Nigerian President shut naysayers up by making an unanticipated return, a man of God finds himself in a messy scandal, BBNaija’s Kemen is sorry but not sorry and Etisalat is in a massive debt problem. Here are all the winners and losers from last week’s most prominent newsmakers.

WINNERS

President Muhammadu “I Just Got Back” Buhari

After 50 long days of staying away in London leaving us mostly clueless and at the mercy of his media aides, Nigeria’s President Buhari touched down in the Air Force Base in Kaduna early Friday morning.

The President was received by his wife Aisha, his family and top government officials. He was quoted in a speech saying, “I am pleased to be back. I am feeling much better”.

Nigerians are pleased to have you back too, hence this “Welcome back” video:

Women across the world

The International Women’s Day celebration held on March 8 across the world with marches against sexism in many parts. In other countries, women went on strike to press for workplace equality and other fundamental rights.

Here in Nigeria, the celebration was no less effective. Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose did not hesitate to throw subtle shade. As he encouraged the women, he told them not to be restricted to the kitchen, the inner room and the other room. We all know where this came from.

 LOSERS

Apostle Suleiman loves threesomes or nah?

Only one person has the answer and it’s Stephanie Otobo. She’s been on a secret spilling spree for over a week now and not even the Apostle’s wife could stop Stephanie with her cute little image-correction video.

Plus, the guys at Sahara Reporters have everything they need (and more) to nail the Apostle. In the eyes of the rest of  us observing Nigerians, Apostle Suleiman bought Nollywood actress Daniella Okeke a brand new Mercedes Benz 450 GL, wanted a threesome with Stephanie, had sex with her multiple times and in different countries of the world and gave her all the cash offering realised from a crusade in Naples.

Who will save the Apostle now? Oh wait! Another lady has made her sexual relationship with the “man of God” public. Okay bye!

Unapologetic Kemen

This one rode on the wings of International Women’s Day to pen and publish a waste of an apology to Tboss and all women who “were offended by their perception of his actions in the house“.

To worsen the matter, he got interviewed by Azuka “the great” Ogujiuba and Kemen used that platform to further ruin his chances at earning our forgiveness. Without mincing words, he denied touching Tboss that night and claimed he was only dragging a duvet. But we saw what you did, Lipton and we hope Tboss presses charges once she’s out of the house.

Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband

The man whose name would have remained unknown if Tonto hadn’t inserted her fame somewhere in between. At least, so she said.

In her own tell-all chat with Azuka from the Kemen interview above, Tonto took a cue from Tiwa Savage and shed tears, took things a step further and showed photos of scars she got from physical assault inflicted on her by Mr Oladunni Churchill. With all these plus the STDs and the cheating, that man is a sore loser.

Etisalat

The telecommunication company obtained a loan facility of about N541.8 billion from three Nigerian banks (Guaranty Trust, Access and Zenith) in 2015 and has failed to pay.

The banks were set to take over the company until NCC and the apex bank came to its rescue by halting the move and strategising a payment plan moving forward.
