Students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) published an obituary of their Vice Chancellor, Professor Sulaiman Gbadegeshin, expressing their anger over the lingering strike action the school.
It would be recalled that the school had been on a 9 months stand still and even after resumption, academic activities have not resumed.
It was in this light that the students blocked UTME candidates from entering the school on the exam date.
The issue arose from the face-off between staff of the school and the Osun and Ondo state governments, who are joint owners of the school.
The lecturers are demanding payment of the arrears of their salaries that amounts to about N7.1bn.
