The ongoing FIFA World Cup has attracted controversy since it started with the leaking of nude photos of some Croatian players and Nigeria’s less than impressive match against Iran.
A bright light shone through the event though as Australian player, Mark Bresciano took time out for an act of kindness as he bent down to help a boy on Crutches tie his shoe laces which had come undone.

The moment was captured before Australia’s match against Chile and has been described by Fox Sports as the World Cup’s “enduring image”
Chile went on to beat Australia 3-1.
