Accused Instagram influencer and model, Mike Solomon has got everyone talking following his direct response to the rape and sexual assault allegations levied against him. Solomon, in a recent Instagram Lives session with another Instagram socialite, Chef Taylaw_lamod addressed the issue as he also shared why he had been silent about it.
The Instagram model got everyone talking in June after two of his colleagues and friends accused of sexually assaulting them respectively. While that story created a lot of public interest, his response to the accusation has created another wave of discussion.

Reacting to the accusation, Solomon pointed out that he was shocked that his friends would accuse him of such as he also pointed out that he is still trying to find reasons why they would do that to him. He also shared that he has forgiven them (his accusers), as he stressed that he would love to have an open conversation with them.
Reacting to his statement, the Instagram influencer has got many Twitter users talking, as many expressed their opinion as it concerns his denial of the accusation.

there’s a difference between being speechless and you stuttering cause you can’t make up a lie for the situation. and if you’re wise you’d know which solomon was doing.
he was given and opportunity to defend himself and he blew it LITERALLY

I don’t understand why you people have completely ruled out the fact that it could be true??? Solomon has not said anything to convince anyone that it was true on his little live,he wasn’t answering questions directly.

So Solomon said his accuser lied and was forced to say shit about him ? And that “he forgives them”…sounds like someone has a “Light skinned Jesus complex” coupled with mental illness and delusions, conclusion is that nigga needs a mental hospital fast pic.twitter.com/INZVb8JgpR

While some Twitter users identified with Solomon, other were of the opinion that his story wasn’t adding up on the basis that he was stuttering and playing the victim, others, however, stressed that the interview was scripted to make Solomon appear innocent.

Daevees this isn't fake you know??.. And I'm holding back some coz they told me not to post it.. So be careful of what you deny it can be used against you. I'm not saying Solomon is right but get your story straight don't manipulate it pic.twitter.com/VNcyr8oFL8
— Anon For Just Solomon (@anonnaija12) July 11, 2020
This trend also opened the conversation on the authenticity of the accusers’ story as some Twitter users pointed out that some of Solomon’s accusers are not being truthful about their claims, even as they shared photos supporting their claims.
You haven't sued Solomon for allegedly assaulting you, it's an anonymous page you're coming for.
If your claim is true, sue him!
The fact that you haven't made any legal move shows that you are lying oga.

While rape is a serious crime, false accusation is an even more heinous act as it not only mentally take a toll on the accused but also goes on to affect their image. Solomon, however, in the interview, pointed out that he is also seeking legal advice even though he has forgiven his accusers.
