Lagos state officials have commenced the demolition of shops located in Ikeja Along garage along the popular Computer Village, Ikeja.
About 18 shops are reported to have been demolished at the time of this report, with heavily armed police officers supervising the site of demolition.
An anonymous shop owner said they had been informed that the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode intends to convert the space into a Bus Rapid Transit [BRT] Park.
