A while ago Yvonne Nelson sat down for an interview with Toolz on her Ndani TV show, The Juice. The interview focused on Yvonne’s life and career in general, and was as pleasant as you can imagine, considering how pretty both ladies are; Ms. Nelson in particular. Seriously, she’s so beautiful that she doesn’t even have to utter a word. I’m content to watch her on screen for hours on end, just sitting pretty and looking flawless. Anyway at some point in the interview the focus turned, predictably, to Iyanya. Now let’s just get one thing straight, first of all. Anyone saying “Yvonne Nelson needs to shut up about Iyanya” seriously needs to take their own advice. If she wants to rent a hot air balloon to fly around with a banner about how much of a douchebag unfaithful Iyanya is, she’s allowed. If she wants to keep quiet about it, she is, as well.
But that aside, the interview was packed with lots of information to gleam, the top 4 of which are presented below.
1. Yvonne Nelson’s waist is fully healed
Earlier this week we came to realise the true meaning behind Iyanya’s Tim Westwood freestyle. Many assumed he was dissing her but now we know he was actually talking about trying to get her medicine to deal with some waist pains she’d been feeling. Well clearly she’s fully healed now.
Just look at her posture. Does that look like someone who has waist pains? I don’t think so.
2. Yvonne Nelson can rap.
…and she was a rapper before becoming a beauty queen (which happened before she became an actress, just in case you didn’t know that) even though she hasn’t done that in years. Unfortunately, though, Toolz couldn’t get her to spit any bars. Pity.
3. The “Iyanya thing” happened on her birthday.
The “thing,” there being the break-up, of course. Can you say “Ouch” ?
4. Yvonne Nelson is a “secondary virgin”
Well, whatever that means. But in her own words, “It’s been 7 months, I’m like, a… secondary virgin right now. I haven’t… seen anyone. (laughing) Done nothing. I haven’t even kissed… oh wait, I kissed John Dumelo in a movie.”
