Even though he’s going to be paying attention to your eyes, don’t forget the importance of your lips. You can lick them, bite them, or apply lipstick. However, if you’re putting on lipstick, do so after you look at him.

If you see a cutie from across a room, there are ways to get him interested. It can be terrifying to walk up to someone and introduce yourself, so you can try to get them to come over to you instead. All you have to do is make eye contact, and show that you’re interested through your body language. Here are some ways to get him interested from across a room:

1. LOOK AWAY AND BACK

Even though it’s tempting to stare at a hot guy (or girl), you have to moderate yourself. Look over at them for a few seconds, then look away. When they catch you glancing back a second time, they’ll realize that you’re interested in them. People are pretty perceptive, so don’t glance back too many times, or it’ll be as strange as staring. Casually looking back at him every once in a while is one of the ways to get him interested.

2. LAUGHTER HELPS

There are advantages and disadvantages to being with a group of people when you spot a hottie. He’ll be able to see you talk and laugh with them, and it’s always good for him to watch you smile. The downside is that he might not want to approach if you’re surrounded by people. If you think you’ve caught his interest, stray from your group to get a drink or go to the bathroom. It’ll give him a chance to come over.

3. GIVE HIM A SMILE

When you make eye contact with him, smile! It lets him know that you were purposely looking at him, and that you like what you see. You could even look him up and down to let him know you’re ‘checking him out.’ Most guys see that as a compliment.

4. BE BOLD AND WINK

If you’re bold, you can wink at him when he looks over. There’s no way that he could read that gesture wrong. He’ll either come right over to say hello, or he’ll walk away. If he does the latter, he’s not worth your time.

5. USE YOUR LIPS

Even though he’s going to be paying attention to your eyes, don’t forget the importance of your lips. You can lick them, bite them, or apply lipstick. However, if you’re putting on lipstick, do so after you look at him. He may still be looking in your direction, but you won’t have awkward eye contact that will mess up your make-up application.

6. WEAR WONDERFUL EYE MAKE-UP

You never know when you’re going to run into a cute stranger, but if you’re in a flirty mood in the morning, make sure to make your eye make-up look great. He’s going to be focused on your eyes, so use cute eye shadow and liner. Just don’t go overboard, because you want him to stare for good reasons.

7. ACT NATURAL

Try to act natural when you look at him. If smiling doesn’t feel right, then don’t force yourself to do it. You don’t want to look uncomfortable, or the situation will get awkward. Do whatever you feel natural doing.
