A witness who had initially testified in favour of David Mark’s Senate election, suddenly recanted on Monday.

And three witnesses also failed to show up in court to testify… also in favour of Mark.

 

 

2. Wike spends Rivers money on Julius Berger

Governor Wike pledged to bring back Julius Berger to fix some roads in Rivers… and he did.

The construction firm stopped working in the state in 2007 due to the high cost of paying for security… but Wike dug deep into the state’s vault and made it happen.

Yeah, it’s for roads’ construction- all well and good- but at what cost to the state’s purse?

Federal Inland Revenue Service spends N89 billion in operational cost every year.

Wow!

And now, their siblings at the House of Representatives, are trying to probe them.

 

 

4. Soyinka defends his cult involvement

Prof. Wole Soyinka and co. brought fraternities into Nigeria… a long time ago.

The initiative of the Nobel Laureate would later degenerate into full blown cult activities in Universities across the nation.

And now, he doesn’t miss an opportunity to defend his involvement (and blame the media) for confraternities which have now transitioned to cultism.

 

 

5. Former Police chief in N133m ‘kind of trouble’

It’s a tad weird… that the ICPC discovered that Mike Okiro, was complicit in a certain missing N133 million, yet allowed him walk free.

The former Police chief, Okiro, was only directed to return the money to the Federal Treasury.

Perhaps, stealing is allowed, as long as you can return it?

 

 

6. Supreme Court justices have been polluted.

The festering corruption may have found its way to the path of some Supreme Court justices.

We hear some of the judges and justices have been placed on the watch-list of security agencies, over their roles in election tribunals of 9 states.

Just maybe, we’ll soon start hearing tales of old dirty men collecting kickbacks for favourable rulings.

 

 

7. China has something against Google’s Alphabet

The world will be a much better place, when the Americans start getting along with the Chinese.

Barely a day after Google launched its Alphabet website, www.abc.xyz – China blocked it.

The Great Firewall of China has no chill whatsoever.
