The economy of Nigeria is at its worst for the first time in decades. Inflation rate is through the roof while unemployment is at an all-time high.

But it is easy to look at all this and forget that there are people who are feeling the pain of the economic downturn much more than our political elite are aware of.

This citizen, who we spoke with on this episode of #30Days30Voices, points out that people are suffering, many are fleeing urban centers to their villages while several are dying from hunger.
